Branches reach for the sky, roots dive into the earth, and the trunk intertwines so seamlessly that it’s hard to tell where one ends and another begins. This is the Tree of Life — one of humanity’s oldest symbols, imagined independently by dozens of cultures across the world, from Celts to Scandinavians.
In Celtic tradition, the Tree of Life, Crann Bethadh, was considered a sacred place where two worlds meet — the upper and the lower, the visible and the hidden. When Celts cleared land for a new settlement, one tree was always left untouched in the middle of the field — as a symbolic center holding the balance of the entire community. In Norse mythology, this idea expands to cosmic scale: the ash tree Yggdrasil supports all nine worlds at once, with roots reaching deeper than any other.
On this design, branches and roots are intertwined as tightly as the trunk — a closed circle with no beginning and no end. This ancient idea, shared across traditions, shows that what grows upward is impossible without what holds below. The strength of branches is directly proportional to the depth of roots — a symbol speaking equally to ancestors, descendants, and to the one holding this tree right now.

The cover is handcrafted in our Turtle workshop from Crazy Horse leather — a durable, time-tested material with a smooth surface and distinct vintage character. Over time, the leather develops a noble patina, while small marks of use add individuality.
The design is applied using hot blind embossing under high pressure, without paint — the intertwining of branches and roots emerges purely from the leather’s texture, light, and shadows.
Material: Crazy Horse genuine leather
Design: Hot blind embossing, no paint
Options: Pocket sizes 5 cm or 9 cm
Colors: Black, dark brown, blue, green, cognac, red, burgundy, camel
Packaging: Gift-ready box
Delivery: Nova Poshta / Ukrposhta, 1–3 days production
