A Combatant ID Card is a document that certifies a service member’s combat history. This leather cover featuring the insignia of the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) will not only provide practical protection for the document but also serve as a special gift for someone whose service is connected with military intelligence.

This model features an embossed image of the GUR’s first chevron—one of the most recognizable symbols of Ukrainian military intelligence. The emblem depicts an owl raising a sword above a map of Russia. The image is based on clear symbolism: the owl embodies wisdom, vigilance, and the ability to act in the dark, while the sword represents strength and readiness for decisive action.

The Latin motto “Sapiens dominabitur astris”—“The wise shall rule the stars”—holds special significance. This inscription has become an integral part of the classic symbolism of Ukrainian military intelligence and underscores the importance of intellect, knowledge, and professional skill.

For this model, you can choose one of two inscription options on the cover:
•    «ПОСВІДЧЕННЯ УЧАСНИКА БОЙОВИХ ДІЙ»; 
•    «ГОЛОВНЕ УПРАВЛІННЯ РОЗВІДКИ». 

The embossing is done using a die and a press without the application of ink. The design is imprinted directly into the genuine leather, so the image remains clear even with prolonged use.

Genuine Crazy Horse leather is used in the manufacturing process. It has a distinctive vintage texture, is pleasant to the touch, and develops a unique appearance over time. Signs of wear and minor scratches are a characteristic feature of this material and can be easily smoothed out upon contact with a surface.

The cover is made in the standard 8 × 10.5 cm format for UBD ID cards when folded and features a single compartment for the document.

Two options are available for the cover’s interior pockets:
5 cm — the standard size, which allows you to easily insert and remove the ID card.
9 cm — an enlarged size that holds the ID card more securely and provides better stability.
