A silver lion rearing up, holding a flaming sword in its paws — and every detail of this insignia encodes a whole history. The 80th Separate Air Assault Halychyna Brigade is based in Lviv, which is why the lion, the ancient symbol of the city, became the central image of the emblem. Wings were added to it for a reason: they denote belonging to the Air Assault Forces, while the flaming sword in the lion's paws is a symbol of Archangel Michael, the patron saint of the Air Assault Forces.

The honorable title "Halychyna" was awarded to the brigade in November 2023 for merits during the full-scale invasion, although the roots of the unit go back much further: the first paratroopers appeared in Lviv back in the late 1970s. The brigade passed its baptism of fire near Sloviansk back in 2014, and since 2022 its fighters have fought in Kherson, Kharkiv, and Kyiv regions — where the very reaction speed and offensive power inherent in the assault landing troops were needed.

Manufacturing and embossing
Each cover is created in our Turtle workshop. The image of the 80th brigade insignia is applied with hot blind embossing under high pressure — without paint or color printing. The relief is formed exclusively due to the structure of the leather itself, its texture, and shadows, so the pattern does not wear off and does not lose clarity over the years.

The base of the product is Crazy Horse leather, a high-quality material proven over the years: smooth surface, soft matte sheen, pull-up effect (lightens at folds). Over time, its own noble patina appears on it, and small traces of wear only add character.
