The front of the cover features deep embossing of the Kholodnyi Yar Raven — a legendary symbol associated with Ukraine's struggle for independence. The name Kholodnyi Yar comes from the historic region in the Cherkasy area, which became one of the most significant centers of Ukrainian resistance during the War of Independence of 1917–1921. It was there that the Kholodnyi Yar Republic existed, and its insurgents fought against the Bolshevik occupation for several years. The back of the cover features deep embossing of the Oak of Zalizniak with crossed knives and the Latin motto NUNQUAM RETRORSUM, meaning "Never Step Back."

The key elements of the design are the Black Raven and the Oak of Zalizniak. The raven is associated with one of the Kholodnyi Yar commanders, Ivan Chernousov, while the legendary Oak of Zalizniak, estimated to be around one thousand years old, remains one of the best-known historical symbols of Kholodnyi Yar and the Ukrainian Cossacks. Together, these symbols represent resilience, courage, military tradition, and the enduring fight for Ukraine's freedom.
