In 1919, Ukrainian soldiers officially began wearing fabric tridents sewn onto their uniforms. Because these insignia were handmade, they featured a simple, clean design without intricate details, making them easy to produce even in field conditions. This historic appearance has remained recognizable and continues to inspire modern Ukrainian military symbolism.

Each cover is handcrafted from genuine Crazy Horse leather. This premium leather is valued for its natural texture, exceptional durability, and beautiful aging process. Over time, it develops a distinctive patina, giving every piece its own unique character while remaining reliable for years of daily use.

The design is applied using deep hot embossing without any paint. The image is permanently pressed into the leather itself, ensuring it will not fade, crack, or wear off, even after years of regular use.

76 × 107 mm (80 × 107 mm) — for the older gray (blue) officer ID and Reserve Officer ID.
